Project Overview:
The “Promoting Plastic Waste Collection and Recycling in the Western Province of Sri Lanka” initiative is supported by the Coca-Cola Foundation and implemented in close collaboration with the Waste to Value public-private partnership. This partnership, led by GIZ and including key industry players such as Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka, Nestlé Lanka, and Unilever Sri Lanka Limited, aims to enhance waste collection and recycling infrastructure to reduce plastic waste entering landfills.
Canopus’ Role:
- Design & Development: Delivered a responsive website and mobile applications (Android & iOS) tailored to meet the client’s requirements and facilitate efficient plastic waste collection and recycling processes.
- Hosting & Support: Provided reliable hosting services alongside ongoing support and maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of all digital components.
